About Me

Hi, my name is Jenny.  I am hard of hearing and happily married to a deaf man for over 14 years.  I am a mom of 3 kids that are hearing and are CODA (Children of Deaf Adults).  I have a 11, 9 and a year old baby.  In our household, we strive to communicate bilingually with spoken English and American Sign Language (ASL).  As my children grow, I think of different ways to immerse both languages and cultures in their lives.  I treasure every moment spent with my family and enjoy teaching them new things.  I love to inspire other moms to communicate with their children in American Sign Language.  The connections we build early on in their childhood will impact their lives as adults.  I hope you enjoy my blog as I share ideas and tips on how to teach your children ASL.
